Vaine Moeroa Teiri, Arrived December 15 1943. Departed us May 15 2023. Was born on the beautiful lands of the Cookislands. A village found in the heart of Rarotonga, called Arorangi. She was a very dear mother, grandmother, friend to all. Despite her trials & tribulations, she built a foundation of love, spirit, and peace during her years as a grandmother. Known for her handskills she'd inherited the name through friends and family "Queen of the tivaivai" and has proven her skill by displaying one of her art pieces done by her and her friends in the Auckland Museum
